Mougg Your Music in the Clouds

Well not really in the clouds, Mougg is a service that offers you access to stream your music from any computer or device from any location you may find yourself. The concept of cloud computing in which files are stored on a distant server may be the wave of the future.

It offers a generous 1GB worth of space for free enough for about 165 mp3s at 6mb each that is more than enough for the average person maybe not so much for the devote audiophile. They offer 2 types of plans at the moment free and premium $2.99 a month for unlimited storage and Album Artwork Auto-Finder with a Desktop Music Uploader coming to gain access to the premium account everyone signs up for a free account at first and if you desire more space you can access it inside your personal admin panel.

Mougg Interface

The interface is very intuitive just click upload, you can create playlists, if you have album art already that will show in the player, a storage indicator that tells you how much room you have left and the amount of songs already uploaded, share to twitter and facebook although I haven’t tried twitter, facebook shows a small player with 10 second clip of the song I shared and 2 buttons I’m curious as what they do I think one loops the song. All in all I like it and it’s free so check it out if you are a music lover like me.

I just installed Divx and it brought me to this page look what it says up top lol

The Year Of The Hutch!! Michael Hutchence That Is

If you haven’t already guessed by peeking at my blog I’m a huge fan of Michael’s.

Michael Hutchence Performing Live with INXS 1985

Just a little over 13 Years ago Michael left us Rest His Soul, and pretty much his presence was left out of the general public, he is not forgotten by Family, Friends and Fans that is for sure, I for one have been mystified as to why their was so little recognition for all that he accomplished in his 37 years with us.

I became a fan much later in life (long boring story) the things I have been researching the music with INXS, live performances (awesome live band!!) and on his own projects (awesome again!!), and his life these are the things that matter, I discovered so much that the general public really has no idea how gifted he truly was,the type of background he came from the type of man he was, or at least I know I didn’t know, as my knowledge of Michael was INXS Need You Tonight time period all I knew was MTV all the studio cuts they played on MTV pretty much was my exposure sad but true. Not only the music but his life behind the scenes is of huge interest to me as I’m sure it is for the rest of his fans. There is definitely more than meets the eye with Michael.

Michael possesed that X Factor something you can’t touch but you know it when you see it, that was Michael.

I have only scratched the surface I am learning as each day passes little things about him from other fans I’ve met (Hutch Fans Rock!!). There has been so much misinformation on his life it’s mind boggling as I said I’m green just finding out. So to come to the point of my post read on my fellow Hutchies if your not a fan you may soon become one. (:

Yesterday I discovered the APA, Talent and Literary Agency in Hollywood announced that they have been commissioned to spotlight various projects that highlight Michael’s creative genius!! Yep to read that article look here APA Announces Representation Of Michael Hutchence’s Life Works.

Then this morning I found that Martha Troup, Michael’s former manager confirmed and provided more details as of what to expect that article can be found here Hutchence The Musical On Cards.

So it looks like 2011 is going to have a lot in store for us Michael Hutchence fans “The Year of the Hutch!!” has arrived, as my friend Alejandro said.

Peace and Love

Excuse My WordPress Theme

I have been having an issue with any free theme and do not know how to solve it I am using a free account and do not have access to the CSS so what can I do its only affecting the front page as far as I can tell the sidebar dips below the main div why I don’t know it also is affecting orientation of my posts, video etc…

If anyone can help it would be great!!

*Update*

It’s fixed Thanks to thesacredpath over on the forums he is always there in a pinch if your reading this sacred Thanks from the bottom of my heart!!

And also Thank auxclass for letting me know that Twenty Ten is the Default Theme for WordPress.

Here is his advice:

This issue is most likely caused by an open HTML tag, or some malformed code in one of your posts.

Go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “save changes.”

Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make a minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it and then click “update.” Check your blog and if it is back to normal, you are golden. If not, open the next post and do the same thing till it goes back to normal.

I had to use the 2nd option he gave as the 1st was a no go but luckily my blog is small and posts are short what it turned out to be is I was using a blog called Posterous that auto posts to here and twitter etc… well it had a rather large image gallery attached to it so I removed it and wallah I’m back to normal.

I’m not knocking Posterous I am a new user and am not certain how they markup things but this is all it had was a a closing div no beginning div and it said gallery in bbcode lol was a bit odd but the images did display just whacked out every theme I tried to use.

Thanks Lisa

All The Boys In Town

Australian Rocker Chrissy Amphlett and lead singer of Divinyls is a fighter.

Chrissy was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer in a recent interview she
said that doctors did not at 1st find any sign but she insisted something was
wrong and persued her health care further to find she does indeed have the
cancer and required emergency surgery.
She went on to say she wants no sympathy that there are women who are
diagnosed and have no one to support them emotionally and realizes how lucky
she is to have that.
Chrissy would like the theme song for Breast Cancer Campaign to be “I Touch Myself”
(a hit here in the States in the 1980s) and appropriately fitting to early detection
through weekly self examination, she is in our prayers.

*Update* January 27, 2011
The Divinyls frontwoman took to Facebook to spread the good news on Monday.

“As of last Friday I am officially cancer free,” Amphlett wrote.

The 51-year-old revealed in October she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The singer also has multiple sclerosis, which means she could not have the usual radiation and chemotherapy treatment.

Amphlett was filmed for Channel 7 late last year having treatment in a New York hospital.

Yesterday a jubilant Amphlett added more Facebook posts, noting: “Today, I have no answers. I only know that I was given a chance to reflect on my own mortality; given a chance to choose life over the fear of death.”
